There was a grey 928 for sale close to me a few months ago. It was manual, had a bunch of new stuff on it(including paint), and they wanted $9500. I'm really glad I didn't have $9500.

No, it was a few months ago. I already have a project/daily driver, and am broke. When I'm not broke, I plan on finding a cheap, fun, economical dd and then really start tearing my 4Runner apart.

I’m pretty good. Got busy as hell with work and it’s still busy but I feel like I can breathe a bit now. So that’s good.

The community is fine, as Hulkamania hasn’t slowed us down much. I’m personally not sure if Univision (this property’s new owner) will keep Opposite Lock around, but we’ll see. And I’m fairly certain that my health is significantly better than HRC’s situation.

Work has been pretty damned busy over here as well. I jump on here in the morning before work, between clients (for just a few minutes), and after work for a bit.

How’s non-work related life going on your end?

I could see Jalopnik having a ton of value to one of the existing car related publications.

Life is good. Could be better, could be worse. Kids are insane, wife is doing okay (her mom died just over a month ago, still working through that), and I’m still trying to win the lottery.

Oh, and my truck that I had for over nine years (it was a nice truck) caught fire when the mechanic did something wrong, so now I drive a CTS. YEEHAW.

No Samsung, just a leak in the fuel flow monitor they slapped onto it. A little gas dripped onto the headers, which caused a small fire, which burned through the hose for the monitor, which caused a larger fire, which then burned everything under the hood to a crisp. They paid properly after some time and negotiation.

I just got a 2nd Gen CTS with the FI 3.6. I almost got a V, but my grandmother thought I’d kill myself with it and laid down a guilt trip. So I bought a sensible car and not the car I wanted.
